AMPHORA- Factory (Turn-Trepitz) huge Art Nouveau vase, around 1910, design by Elvir Otto for the Amphora-Werke (Reissner, Stellmacher & Kessel) in Turn-Teplitz (today Trnovany in the Czech Republic), probably from the series 'Brittany farmers', cylindrical shape, surrounding bronze-colored landscape relief, partly with eosin glaze inside and outside, framed from a brownish-gold-colored relief. On the front, the relief of a walking farmer stands out in color through bright, detailed staffage. Lateral sticker 'Amphora' (no longer complete), impressed marks on the bottom 'Amphora Faience Turn' and 'Austria', base ring damaged, H 41, 5 cm.
